The Lagos Circumstance Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Wednesday, stated the Lagos Circumstance Occupation Agree with Treasure created 221,000 jobs since its inception.
The governor spoke on the Lagos Occupation Height organised via the Agree with Treasure.
In a remark on his X deal with, he stated, “I spoke on our proceed towards sustainable task launch and economic development in Lagos Circumstance.
“Over the past year, we have made significant strides in improving the employment landscape. Our unemployment rate has seen significant positive change, thanks to various initiatives and policies aimed at creating jobs and empowering our youth.”
He stated the LSETF was once a key part of the federal government’s task launch technique.
“Since its inception, the capitaltreasury has generated over 221,000 direct and oblique jobs, facilitated greater than 83,000 access-to-market alternatives, and educated over 18,000 younger family in industry-relevant talents.
“Today, we also launched the Labour Market Information System a platform designed to boost job creation and enhance the job market in Lagos State. As we move forward, it is imperative that we continue to unite our efforts. I call on all stakeholders – government agencies, the private sector, civil society, and international partners – to join hands with us in this mission,” he added.
