Niger Order Governor, Mohammed Bago, has come below assault for ordering his safety aides to slap one of the vital Islamic clerics at a meeting.
Bago, in a video revealed via Sunday PUNCH, ordered his aide to ‘slap’ the cleric.
“Slap him, very well. I said slap him. Go and arrest him. Deal with him well-well”, the governor ordered.
He thereafter uttered a Hausa idiomatic tone which was once interpreted as “I have power.”
