The Deputy Director of Agriculture and Fisheries in NDDC, Mr Wale Oretan,  stated 300 farmers from Abia and alternative states within the area participated within the coaching.

He defined that the educational lined each theoretical and sensible sides of rice manufacturing, processing, and entrepreneurship.

“Each participant received a starter pack worth N200,000 along with a certificate of completion,” Oretan mentioned.

He advised the beneficiaries to use the information received from the educational to enhance their companies and spice up rice manufacturing around the 9 Niger Delta states.

The President of the Abia Rice Farmers Affiliation, Mrs Uzoma Ochulo, expressed gratitude to NDDC in the name of the beneficiaries.

Ochulo stated the beneficiaries would percentage their wisdom with alternative farmers of their communities to extend rice manufacturing within the Niger Delta.
