
Operatives of the Nationwide Drug Regulation Enforcement Company have intercepted a consignment of Deafening, a man-made pressure of hashish, non-transperant in a cover, packaged for export to the UK on the Murtala Muhammed World Airport, Lagos.
A commentary on Sunday via the company’s spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, stated six parcels of the psychoactive substance with a improper weight of three.50 kilograms have been non-transperant within the cover.
“In his statement, Austin Balogun, who is the main agent who hired Sunday Adakole, claimed he was paid N700,000 to cargo the consignment to the UK but spent a fraction of the money on export handling charges and the bulk to pay for an apartment,” Babafemi added.
In any other operation, Babafemi stated two suspects, recognized as Joseph Adewale and Biodun Adelakun, have been arrested at Igbo Olumo, Ikorodu segment of Lagos, when the NDLEA operatives raided their hideout.

“Another raid in Lagos on Sunday, January 19, led to the seizure of 47kg skunk, a strain of cannabis, and 25.46kg Nitrous Oxide popularly known as laughing gas at the notorious Akala area of Mushin,” Babafemi added.
In Ekiti Order, Babafemi stated a 26-year-old suspect, Adepoju Taiwo, was once arrested via the NDLEA officials on Thursday, January 23, with 1.950kg Canadian Deafening at Iworoko Street, Ilokun, Ado-Ekiti, the condition capital, month Auwal Sani was once nabbed via operatives on Monday, January 20, at Bode Saadu in Moro Native Govt Department of Kwara Order.
