The Techie Impact Summit 2025, curated by Precious Azuonwu, Forbes 30 Under 30 nominee and Western Union Global Fellow, successfully convened 50 vetted founders, entrepreneurs, and tech-enabled business owners at CcHub/NGHub, Yaba, Lagos, for a transformative four-hour session themed
“Everything AI and Funding.”

The summit, officially recognized by the Western Union Foundation, delivered on its mission to promote impact within Nigeria and Africa’s tech ecosystem by equipping attendees with hands-on AI knowledge, funding intelligence, and strategic networking opportunities that position Nigerian startups for global competitiveness.

Muheez Okunade, Founder of Innofy AI, delivered a masterclass on Building AI Agents, demonstrating how African startups can move beyond basic automation to deploy truly
intelligent systems that solve complex business challenges.

Precious Azuonwu led an intensive 80-minute session on Everything Funding for Impact: Tech and AI, breaking down hidden pathways to grants, accelerators, and strategic capital. Attendees participated in breakout room discussions focused on clarity of
mission, building credibility, and identifying tactical next steps for securing funding within 90 days.

Victor Ogunbiyi, Founder and CEO of DAWN AI STUDY and recipient of the $10,000 Meta Grant Award, closed the summit with Everything AI and Leveraging Tools for Impact.

Ogunbiyi shared success stories from his award-winning NeuroTech startup, which uses artificial intelligence to diagnose and support neurodivergent learners across Africa, including children with autism, ADHD, and dyslexia.

The Western Union Foundation, which officially recognized the Techie Impact Summit as a basecamp project under its Fellowship Programme, continues to demonstrate its commitment to skill building and economic inclusion for marginalized global citizens.
Since launching in 2024, the Techie Impact Summit has reached over 100 young entrepreneurs, sparked policy reform discussions, and created sustainable pathways for
tech-driven social impact.
