The overdue Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who represented Anambra South Senatorial District, has been laid to remains in his place of birth of Otolo Nnewi in Anambra Surrounding.
Ubah, re-elected to the tenth Senate beneath the Younger Progressives Birthday celebration, died in London on July 27.
Sharing footage from the funeral, Anambra Surrounding Governor, Charles Soludo, paid tribute, announcing, “Nowadays, I used to be in Nnewi to pay my utmost admire to the overdue Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.
“He used to be greater than a senator. He used to be a more youthful brother and a pal, all the time brimming with occasion and exuberance.
“His premature escape serves as a formidable reminder of occasion’s fleeting nature.
“May his gentle soul rest in peace.”
The funeral drew various dignitaries, together with the Labour Birthday celebration presidential candidate; Peter Obi; Senator Orji Uzor Kalu of Abia North; former Senate President Bukola Saraki; and Senator Victor Umeh of Anambra Central, amongst others.
