Ryan Coogler’s supernatural thriller ‘Sinners’ continued its remarkable awards season dominance on Sunday night, securing two major victories at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards. The film took home ‘Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media’ for composer Ludwig Göransson’s haunting, atmospheric original score, marking his fifth Grammy win in the category.
Additionally, ‘Sinners’ claimed ‘Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media’ as a various artists album, celebrating its blend of original songs and period-inspired tracks that enriched the 1930s-set horror-fantasy narrative.
The wins cap a triumphant run for the Warner Bros. release, which has captivated audiences and critics since its April 2025 theatrical debut. Göransson’s music, drawing on blues, gospel, and eerie orchestral elements perfectly complemented the film’s exploration of Black culture, vampirism, and Southern folklore. The compilation soundtrack featured standout contributions, including original songs like “I Lied to You” by Miles Caton and “Pale, Pale Moon” by Jayme Lawson, alongside tracks from artists such as Rod Wave.

Jordan, supporting acting slots for Delroy Lindo and Wunmi Mosaku, as well as technical fields like cinematography, production design, visual effects, and original score and song.
