Real Madrid coach Álvaro Arbeloa has addressed ongoing speculation about Kylian Mbappé’s knee, calling the reports “absolutely false information.”
In recent days, rumors have circulated suggesting that the French star is struggling with a knee problem that could affect his performances.
Arbeloa, however, insisted that such claims are misleading and urged focus on the player’s contributions on the field.
According to a post by Fabrizio Romano on X on Friday, Arbeloa was quoted as saying, “What Kylian has said these days… it is absolutely false information,” Arbeloa said, emphasising that the speculation does not reflect the reality of the situation.
The former Madrid defender added that it is now time for Mbappé to leave his knee issues behind and concentrate on his goals, highlighting the importance of mental and physical focus in maintaining top-level performance.
Arbeloa’s comments come as Mbappé continues to play a pivotal role for Real Madrid and the French national team, with eyes on major domestic and international competitions.
Giving fitness updates on Jude Bellingham, Arbeloa explained that the midfielder has seen limited playing time in recent matches, describing Bellingham’s situation as “a little particular,” noting that he played only a few minutes against Atlético Madrid because manager Thomas Tuchel chose not to take risks.
“Jude is smart enough to have done good training sessions. And he’s ready to help tomorrow, ” he said.
