NDLEA intercepts UK-bound hashish secret in cover at Lagos airport, arrests two


Operatives of the Nationwide Drug Legislation Enforcement Company have intercepted a cargo of hashish, often referred to as “Loud” hazy in a cover and destined for the UK.

The company’s Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, disclosed in a commentary on Sunday that the consignment was once intercepted on the Murtala Muhammed Global Airport in Ikeja, Lagos, on Tuesday.

The Chairman/ Govt Officer of the NDLEA, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Marwa (retd.) reportedly recommended the officials concerned within the operations and emphasised the company’s constancy to fighting drug trafficking and selling drug abuse prevention.
