Jigawa LG boss distributes Tinubu’s Ramadan food packages to residents

The Chairman of Buji Local Government Area, Najeebulah Falalu Tukur, has distributed Ramadan welfare packages provided by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to executives and elders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the council area.

Speaking during the presentation, Tukur said the gesture reflected the President’s commitment to supporting party loyalists and vulnerable citizens during the Ramadan season.

“I am delighted to convey this goodwill message from His Excellency, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to our party leaders and stakeholders at the grassroots,” he said.

The council chairman explained that the welfare packages, consisting of 25-kilogram bags of rice, were distributed to about 297 APC executives and elders across ward and local government levels in Buji.

According to him, the support was facilitated through the leadership of the Governor of Jigawa State, Umar Namadi, as part of efforts to extend the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope support to party members and communities.

Tukur described the initiative as a demonstration of the President’s concern for party faithful and citizens, particularly during Ramadan when acts of charity and solidarity are encouraged.

He added that similar food items were also distributed to local government and ward coordinators as well as ward media aides of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Buji.

The chairman said the distribution was aimed at appreciating grassroots stakeholders, strengthening party unity, and supporting families during the fasting period.

He urged beneficiaries to continue praying for the success of the Tinubu administration and for peace, unity, and development across the country.
