Guy arrested for stabbing in-law to demise in Imo

The Imo Shape Police Command has arrested 40-year-old Uchenna Okpara for allegedly stabbing his inlaw, Uchenna Unakalamba, to demise over a dispute involving their youngsters.

The order police spokesperson, Henry Okoye, disclosed this in a remark in Owerri on Sunday.

Okpara was once imagined to have stabbed his inlaw to demise on Thursday with a damaged bottle following a dispute involving his youngsters and the ones of Unakalamba in Ubomiri, within the Mbaitoli Native Executive Branch of the order.

During interrogation, the suspect confessed to being part of a group responsible for several kidnappings in Ubomiri, Ogbaku, and Ohii communities within Mbaitoli LGA.”

Moreover, he stated efforts have been ongoing to nab the alternative absconding participants of the snatch syndicate, pronouncing, “While Dike remains in custody. He is expected to be arraigned in court after the conclusion of the investigation.”

Okoye confident the folk of the police constancy to remove kidnapping and alternative legal acts throughout the order and preserve leisure and safety.
