A disturbing video circulating on social media has captured the moments of a yet- to- be indentified man who reportedly died after a self-harm incident on the balcony of a building.
The video, shared on X on Wednesday by user TeddyUSD, showed the man standing on the balcony of the house while holding a knife, as a person from beside the building and other residents captured the incident.
Minutes into the footage, the man was seen slitting his throat with knife while stunned onlookers screamed in panic and repeatedly called out to him.
“Somebody is killing himself o and nobody is there” one eyewitness said
“Why? Why now?” The eyewitness was heard shouting in distress.
He also repeatedly urged the man not to give up, saying, “You never die. You still get hope.”
At the end the video, the man was seen hanging on the barricade lifeless.
Although the circumstances leading to the incident could not be immediately established, the disturbing clip has since generated widespread reactions online.
As of the time of filing this report, the exact location of the incident and the identity of the deceased had yet to be independently verified.
