NBSF secures marketing partnership with EEXSport to boost global engagement

The Nigeria Baseball and Softball Federation (NBSF) has announced a strategic partnership with EEXSport, appointing the firm as its exclusive worldwide marketing, sponsorship, communications, media and digital agency.

The collaboration aligns with national sports development goals and the Olympic Movement’s focus on institutional capacity building, commercial sustainability, athlete-centred growth and global engagement.

It forms a central part of the Federation’s reform agenda aimed at strengthening professionalism, transparency and international competitiveness.

Strategic Mandate and Commercial Growth

Under the agreement, EEXSport will design and execute integrated marketing, sponsorship, communications, media and digital strategies for the Federation.

The partnership will focus on strengthening NBSF’s brand identity, improving stakeholder engagement, attracting strategic partners and expanding the visibility of Nigeria’s baseball and softball programmes across continental and global platforms.

Leadership Perspective: Institutional Development

NBSF President Uche Odozor described the appointment as a significant step in the Federation’s institutional development.

“This appointment reflects our commitment to building a modern, well-governed Federation aligned with global best practices and the values of the Olympic Movement,” Odozor said.

“Sustainable growth in sport requires strong institutional structures beyond the field of play. Through this partnership, we are enhancing our commercial capacity, strengthening communications and creating a more enabling environment for athletes, officials and development partners.”

He added that the collaboration would also strengthen engagement with government institutions, the Nigerian Olympic Committee, continental and international federations, and private-sector stakeholders.

Innovation and Grassroots Expansion

EEXSport Chief Executive Officer Emeka Enyadike said the partnership would prioritise sustainability, governance and long-term value creation.

“We look forward to building strong commercial frameworks, elevating the Federation’s national and international profile, and supporting programmes that benefit athletes and the wider sports ecosystem,” he said.

Enyadike noted that key priorities include advancing Baseball5 and e-sport variants, as well as supporting infrastructure upgrades, grassroots participation, school-based programmes, coach education and baseball management training.

The partnership is expected to enhance NBSF’s capacity to deliver structured competitions, strengthen stakeholder confidence and position baseball and softball as tools for youth development, social inclusion and international representation.
