22 drug sellers convicted in July

The Kano Situation Command of the Nationwide Medicine Regulation Enforcement Company on Thursday disclosed that it fasten the conviction of twenty-two drug sellers within the surrounding in July 2024.

Confirming the convictions to newsmen, on Thursday, the Commander of the company, Abubakar Idris-Ahmad, described the feat as a significant victory in its battle in opposition to illicit drug trafficking and abuse.

Idris-Ahmad mentioned, “Out of the 22 drug dealers convicted, one Abubakar Mu’azu’s arrest resulted in an altercation during which he stabbed an NDLEA officer.”
