ABUJA – The All Registered APC North–South Progressives (ARANS-P) says President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027 is vital to sustaining national stability and consolidating the policy direction set under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The group made the case at a national briefing addressed by its National Chairman, Chief Chibunna Ubawuike, who outlined what it described as key achievements across several sectors of government.
“Today, we gather under the banner of the All Registered APC North–South Progressives (ARANS-P) to reaffirm our confidence in the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and to present a clear account of how far Nigeria has come under the Renewed Hope Agenda,” he said.
Ubawuike said the Federal Government had expanded investment in housing through new partnerships and revised mortgage arrangements. He noted that the Federal Housing Authority had received additional funding to support these efforts.
In the health sector, the group pointed to upgrades in primary healthcare facilities, an expanded Basic Health Care Provision Fund and new recruitment of medical personnel. It also cited reforms aimed at boosting local production within the health value chain.
“Furthermore, maternal, childcare, pregnant mothers’ treatment including child delivery and cesarean sessions are free in government hospitals nationwide, even renal treatments are now subsidized in government hospitals, with state of the art renal and cancer treatment equipment installed for efficient treatment and cure,” ARANS-P noted.
The APC group said education had received increased attention, highlighting higher funding levels, the Students Loan Scheme Act and investments in digital learning and technical education. It also referenced ongoing agricultural programmes such as fertiliser distribution, irrigation support and agro-processing projects.
Ubawuike added that major infrastructure projects; including the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway and the Sokoto–Badagry Highway were in progress, along with the establishment of six Regional Development Commissions.
On the economy, ARANS-P argued that reforms such as fuel subsidy removal and foreign exchange unification were necessary to address longstanding structural weaknesses.
“Already, inflation is beginning to moderate (16.84% as at October ending), capital inflows are rising, foreign reserve at over $43b net, foreign financial obligations are met with ease, and local manufacturing is gradually gaining momentum,” Ubawuike noted.
He also pointed to initiatives in digital skills development, talent export and broader ICT capacity building. On security, the group said improved inter-agency coordination and operational adjustments had yielded gains in several parts of the country.
“The numbers speak clearly; peace is gradually returning to all troubled regions,” Ubawuike declared.
He called on Nigerians and APC supporters to back Tinubu for a second term, warning that abandoning the current trajectory would be detrimental.
“Any other way is to plunge Nigeria into socio-political and socio-economic abyss and viral miasma. God forbid,” the APC group warned.
